Woodland Workshop

Woodland Workshop is the work of a fourteen people strong collective of Design Products students from the Royal College of Art, who drove to the Woods with as much timber as we could salvage from the 2014 graduation show to create a series of on-site structures.

The treehouse sauna was built within five days and features a wood burning stoves to heat a collection of stones taken from the river. The stove was built from an old steel bin and milk urn. The glass panel from a barn on the property and the wooden floor is restored tiles that once lined a local church.

Additional projects included slip-cast crockery made of collected clay, furniture, a platform between trees and burning objects.
