City in the Sky is the Serpentines Architecture Pack 2019, designed for children and families to imagine new ways of living together.

The educational publication was inspired by the ideas of Superstudio, a group of radical architects and designers who worked together in Florence in the 1960s and 70s. Superstudio wanted to use architecture to solve problems on earth, such as the unfair distribution of money and space and the destruction of the natural environment. They made collages, films, statements and installations to share their ideas.
The Serpentine presented a weekend of artist-led workshops for children and families, responding to Faith Ringgold’s summer exhibition and exploring the themes of art, activism, poetry and print.
Visitors were invited to use collage and drawing to create a banners that show a fairer way of living together.
